I'm not really sure what the difference is between Hits and Page views ..
Total unique visits for the year: 1,381,584
Page views are twice this number, see the Nov 4 post.

Ok AWSTATS reports HITS as all down-loaded files. So I assume that it means HTML and gif files.
I won't reports HITs any longer, I don't care how many pic files are downloaded unless they effect my bandwidth limit....
Check out the latest post on declining PC buses, may indicate why the hits seem to be flat;
