I figured it's been more than a week so it's time for a posting. I only wish I had a topic.
But when in doubt post how the page views are doing.
What I find interesting is that page views are up over the last six months, both unique visitors and total visitors. In fact not only are page views higher on a per month basis, but over the last several months they are the highest numbers ever for any month. However the problem is that earnings for the site are stable, flat, or altogether boring..... Sure I've seen revenue increases for a day or a week, but nothing long term. I have not seen a steady increase in earnings which would track with the increase in visits.
Yea I could move ads or change ad formats, which I do. But I'm really always working on new content, and when I do move an ad it's to make the page look better and not to make more money.

3/3/2010 Visitor graph comment; the numbers fluctuate per month, which has to do with two main things, the number of days in the month and if there are any holidays.
The site receives around 10,000 visits a day. So a month with 28 days will receive 20,000 less visitors than a month with 30 days, all other thing being equal. The same is true for a holiday, which would receive about 50% less visits had the day been normal.
So you can compare a month, year-to-year, but you can't really compare one month to another. Just another SEO tip.
3/27/2010 The number of visits look really good this month; 225,347 visitors so far [with 3 week days and 2 week-ends left]. So I expect another 40,000 visits this month which should make it the best month ever ~ higher than Jan 2010 which was the previous highest month.
The Unique visitors are only 6,000 less than last month and 12,000 lower than Jan ~ running at 164,417 and growing [again with 5 days to go].
There have been 7 days with visits over 10,000. Eight days with visits over 9,000. Five days with visits over 8,000. The week-end bring in 5,000 +.
