I got a new 1G Byte USB flash drive today.
I tried to back-up some data to my laptop yesterday and filled my other Flash drive. This new one even has pre-installed programs ~ like I have time to use them.
So now I have a:
32MB Buslink USB Flash drive
256MB Impact USB Flash drive
1GB Geek Squad USB Flash drive

I went with the Corsair Flash Voyager, for it's water proofness, neck lanyard and 'cause I like Corsair. The one drawback, which yours covers, is the detachable cover, I just know I'm going to lose that thing!

You may find Microsoft's USB flash drive manager very handy;

I've tried using mine as a boot device, but for me, it's more trouble than it's worth. I do like Portable Firefox which runs completly from your flash drive, leaving no trace on the host PC, very good for the security oriented.
